The Project

Opportunity
AND
SUPPORT

The real ground floor of the Queenie and Herc Project arrived with its inspiration about five years ago. But the practical ground floor for those connected to the entertainment industry is now, because it is time to begin collecting contacts that might support both present and future venues for the Queenie and Herc story. And, there is now something very concrete for those potential contacts to easily visualize all the business and entertainment possibilities. If you think you might fit into Queenie and Herc’s present or future, let us know.

In particular, we would certainly like to hear from anyone in the entertainment industry whose interest and influence might positively help publicize today’s website novel.

Acting: Website vs. other Venues

A careful reader of the on-line novel will soon realize that there are a few characters not yet implemented, in voice and/or visuals, and so we are still looking for immediate support in that department.

But, for those who can visualize the possible movie (animated or live), or stage versions, there are far more future opportunities. Many of the non-caricature characters appearing in the on-line visuals are no longer at the age that you see them, and so they will not be able to continue on in a live movie, sitcom or stage version, regardless of their original talent, beauty, or the fact that they are the actual special people who inspired their character in the first place.

So, for aspiring actors and actresses (or Jennifer Lopez, or Angelina Jolie, or,…), the best approach is to read the novel carefully and assume that all roles are open (including those implemented as caricatures), and imagine yourself in the ones that fit you. Then let us know about you.

With the right resources, there is also the possibility of a fully animated movie (come on down, Eddie Murphy), or a voice/sound effects-only tape or CD. If your talents fit such a venue, let us know what you can do. There are also some voices still missing in the current website implementation.

Beyond acting, we will be interested in creative talent in other aspects of film and stage production. Let us know.

Others

The future of the Queenie and Herc Project is not written in stone, and its direction into other venues will most likely evolve much the same as the project has to this point, step-by-step, with changes along the way. Given some reasonable success with the on-line presentation, there are plenty of routes for accomplishing these other venues. Getting contacts now is part of the effort to determine what are the best options and tradeoffs to follow downstream, and who we should be depending on as part of it.

If you think you have something to offer to these future endeavors, let us know.
